Galleon 3D Screensaver 1.3 build 6

One of my friends is a big trains fan. He says that he just loves them and he could stare at them all day long. He likes to look at them when they’re standing still, and he particularly likes to look at them when they are on the move. That got me thinking – if some people like trains so much, there must be people who like galleons just as much.

If you are such a person, the 3PlaneSoft-developed application Galleon 3D Screensaver may be worth a look at. This screensaver display a galleon as it sails across the seas. The camera moves from angle to angle so that you can get a better look at the galleon. In the background you can hear the waves crushing against the galleon and you can hear some music.

If you don’t like the music, you can mute everything while Galleon 3D Screensaver is running. You can do so by hitting the M key on your keyboard. Alternatively you can go to the Settings window and adjust the volume, or disable the sounds/music altogether.

Here’s something you may like about Galleon 3D Screensaver. The ship flies to flags – from the Settings window you can select your national flag. The galleon will then fly your national flag.

Installation – at the time of writing this, support is provided for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit editions). During the installation process you can choose between these languages: English, German, French and Russian.

During the installation process you are asked to install the 3Planesoft Screensaver Manager. This manager provides information about your currently installed 3PlaneSoft screensaver and about other screensaver 3PlaneSoft has to offer. The manager allows you to access the settings of all the 3PlaneSoft screensavers installed on your system. It also comes with a feature to automatically change the screensaver after a specific amount of time, or to display a different screensaver each time the computer goes idle. This manager is quite useful if you have more than one 3PlaneSoft screensaver.

Limitations – a nag screen will appear after 90 seconds when using the trial version. To get rid of this nag screen you have to purchase a license.
